Values

These values, which are derived from the broad witness of Scripture, are the passions which fuel us. They should permeate the whole of our faith and thus be revealed prominently in our teaching and practice.

Grace and Truth
Grace and Truth is the perfect description of our Lord. Being full of truth, He must judge and condemn sin; being full of grace He mercifully initiates relationship with us, despite our falleness, to provide rescue from His wrath.

Thus, truth is the black velvet on which the diamond of God's grace is so beautifully displayed. Therefore, our practice should reflect both a uncompromising commitment to biblical truth, as well as a radical love for people wherever they may be in their spiritual journey.

Prayerful Dependence
God, as Sovereign Creator, is eternally about the business of carrying out His plan for His creation. Therefore, He is the one who accomplishes His work as He empowers his people. We must therefore live a life of dependence on Him, making prayer not just a high priority, but the priority in our lives and ministry. We don't want to do ministry in such a way that it can be accomplished through our own efforts. Instead, we always want to be in such a place of dependence on Him, that if He doesn't show up, we will fail.

Authentic Relationship God, who is triune in nature, exists in perfect relationship with Himself in the persons of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. Being personal, each has intellect, emotions and a will. Being made in His image, we too are personal, relational beings. We are not created to function in isolation. We are designed to thrive, not as a collection of individuals, but in genuine relationship with:

• God through a life of worship.
• The Body Of Christ through connection to biblical community.
• The World as we represent Him as His witnesses at our various stations in life.

Multiplication God has called us to multiplication in all that we do. Therefore we are committed to intentionally reproducing ongoing generations of individual disciples, small groups, and new churches in our community and throughout the world.
