Phoenix & Peoria, Arizona Christian Church FAQ: |
| Q: What sets you apart from other Phoenix Christian churches?
|
A: Three distinctive characteristics of our Arizona Christian Church is our balance of expository teaching with a contemporary worship experience, the emphasis we place on family, and the importance we place on equipping people for ministry. The interworking of these three elements not only makes us unique among other Christian churches, but also have served as the catalyst that produced the community we are today. |
| Teaching the Bible verse by verse and placing Scripture as the basis for every area of growth is a vital part of our Peoria Christian church. We feel a contemporary environment to worship God and be yourself helps cultivate the ability to personalize the message of the Bible. We want you to feel free to come as you are and experience in a dynamic way what God is speaking to your heart through both expository teaching and contemporary worship.

The emphasis placed on family is a common thread you will find woven throughout Lake Pleasant Community Church. We live in a time and culture where the value of family life is greatly diminished. Our Phoenix Christian church provides a haven in which community and teaching couple together for the betterment of generations. We offer classes on Biblical parenting, support and discipleship to help strengthen marriages, and a place where families can thrive. |
| While all Christian churches need people serving in ministry to function, we believe in fully equipping people for that ministry. Every believer in Christ has been given spiritual gifts for the benefit of the Body. At Lake Pleasant, we provide a place to both discover and use those very gifts. It is in this way, that we can joyfully experience seeing each other's God-planted desires turn into reality. At our Arizona Christian church you will never be obligated into ministry, but instead freely naturally compelled according to the gifts God has given you.
